Amazing
First point I have to make is that this app greatly enhances the usability of a mac, one of the only things windows seems to have over macs is the ability to snap windows to the side so that they fill half of your screen, thankfully for apple cinch lets us do just that!
It does what it says on the tin, I like to use it for coursework when I am using info from one document and expanding on it in another and cinch allows me to do just that without having to manually resize and drag everything (which is annoying and time consuming).
One (slight) problem is that with safari windows it doesn’t automatically zoom it to a size that would be suitable for a window half the screen and you have to manually zoom out a bit and scroll across but it’s just a minor thing which I can put up with if it means I get all the other great features of the app.
So in conclusion I would highly reccomend this app and it’s stupid on apple’s behalf to not automatically have it downloaded onto their operating system in the first place!

A very useful utility
This is a great little application to aid with window management on the Mac. As a teacher I usually have many windows open at once from FTP server connections, Twitter, Microsoft Word, Itunes etc. Expose can help to navigate between these but quite often I will have reference material in one window and be constructing a document or asset in another. In this way Cinch makes it very easy to perform such tasks with ease, I just drag my reference window to the left of the screen and the application I am developing in to the right! Indeed it also comes in very useful for moving files between directories. Highly recommended.
